Friday operations check — make silence meaningful

No obvious errors do not prove a healthy trading operation. Before the weekend, I want a short check that proves the system can trade, report and recover.

My 5-minute reliability check:
1. Confirm every intended pair is enabled and the open-position count matches your expectation.
2. Trigger a status check and compare one balance and one market price with the exchange.
3. Verify that the latest buy, sell or DCA event produced the expected alert.
4. Check free disk space, system time and whether the Gunbot process survives your normal restart method.
5. Save the current config outside the active installation folder, then note the exact rollback point before changing anything.

Gunbot’s official feature page describes a self-hosted setup plus on-demand status monitoring, PnL reports and trade alerts. Those are useful only when tested: a missing alert should mean “nothing happened,” not “monitoring broke.”

Which single failure would you most want your weekend check to catch: a stopped process, a disabled pair or a missing alert?
